Paul A. Lang is the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, serving in such capacity since April 2020. Mr. Lang joined the Company in 1984 and – prior to assuming his current role – served as our President and Chief Executive Officer from April 2020 to February 2024, and as our President and Chief Operating Officer from April 2015 through April 2020, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from April 2012 through April 2015. He previously held a variety of engineering and operating positions at both the Company’s eastern and western operations, and served on the Company’s Board from 2014 through 2016. Mr. Lang is a member of the executive committee of the National Mining Association and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He also has experience serving on the boards of directors of private companies, including Knight Hawk Holding, LLC. Public company directorships in the last five years: None.
